Hi, I'm Becca

Twelve months ago, I hit rock bottom. And honestly? I wanted to stay there.

I wanted to let myself sink into the weight of exhaustion, grief, and sheer frustration. I had spent years pushing, grinding, waiting, even yearning for a breakthrough. I was doing all the things I was “supposed” to do to build a successful business. And yet, at the end of 2023, I found myself completely burnt out. My nervous system was fried, my energy was gone, and I had nothing left to give.

Something Needed To Change Before My Breakthrough

I used to say when I was full force it was my “Becca Mode” and while that speed, that mode served me for some years, it was no longer sustainable. I was in need of a serious tune up.

I had convinced myself that if I just worked harder, if I just found the right strategy, if I just kept going, my business would finally hit that breakthrough moment. But instead, my body gave out before my bank account could catch up.

I broke out in hives all over my body and spent two weeks in bed, physically unable to push forward any longer. And in that quiet stillness, I was forced to face a truth I had been avoiding: I had been running my business from a place of fear, scarcity, and desperation.

Chasing The “One Big Idea”

For years, I had been searching for the idea, client or connection—the one that would finally turn it all around. The one that would make everything click and set me on the path to effortless success. Essentially, my big break.

And at the end of last year, I really thought I had found it. I had poured my heart into this idea, mapped it out, and even started to build it. But then I ran the numbers…and the reality hit me like a ton of bricks.

On paper, this brilliant, life-changing idea was going to lose money with every transaction. It wasn’t sustainable. It wasn’t my ticket to financial freedom. And so, just as quickly as I had built it up in my mind, I had to let it go.

I launched it in a big way with a kick off party, guest speakers, a confetti pop at the end, only to find myself in the doctor’s office the next day and made the decision to shut it all down.

Cue the panic. Cue the frantic search for the next idea, the next pivot, the next thing that would finally make all the years of struggle worth it.

This Time I Needed To Do It differently

This time I would pause. I would slow down. I would actually sit in the discomfort of inaction and the unknown. Which if you’re an Enneagram 3, Type A, ADHD business owner, you know this is basically the hardest thing ever. But I had to learn to sit in the quiet. In the stillness. And really, just sit.

I didn’t throw myself into a new project, but I was still living in lack, fear and scarcity. When I did a full inventory I had the terrifying realization that more things I tried did not  work.

There was no safety net left. I had burned through every last one. I had to learn how to shift my mindset after multiple business failures, which finally after 3 years of leaning into faith and surrender as my words of the year, I got the lesson.

The Breaking Point Before The Breakthrough

I found myself back at square one, staring at the wreckage of another failed attempt. But this time was different.

Because this time, I wasn’t the same person who had started this journey ten years ago.

I wasn’t just another entrepreneur trying to “make it.” I had a decade of experience—of wins and losses, of successes and failures, of ideas that soared and ideas that crashed. And I realized something that changed everything:

I had been searching for the one thing that would turn it all around. But what if there wasn’t just one thing? What if the real breakthrough wasn’t about finding the perfect idea, person or collaboration, but what if it was about becoming the person who could execute on any idea with confidence, clarity, and ease?

What if all the breakdowns weren’t signs of failure—but necessary steps toward something bigger?

Rebuilding From The Ground Up

This time, the business I’m building now, I’m approaching things differently. I let go of the frantic energy. I stopped chasing ideas out of fear. And for the first time in years, I slowed down enough to actually listen to what my body, my intuition, and my experiences were telling me.

And you know what? Everything started to shift.

I started building something that felt right—not just on paper, but in my soul. My body wasn’t fighting it. My mind wasn’t cluttered with doubt. And for the first time in years, I felt light. I felt clear. I felt like I wasn’t just chasing a breakthrough—I was the breakthrough.

The Truth About Breaking Through

We talk so much about the hustle, the grind, the persistence it takes to succeed. But we don’t talk enough about what it actually feels like to break down before you break through.

Sometimes, you have to let go of everything that’s not working before you can step into what will. Sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom so you can rebuild on a foundation that actually supports you. Sometimes, you have to shed the old versions of yourself, the old beliefs, the old patterns before you can make space for the next level of your life and business.

And sometimes? You just have to start over again…and again.

So…here I go. Again. But this time, it’s different. This time, I’m not building from fear. I’m building from trust. From alignment. From the unwavering belief that I am exactly where I’m meant to be.

And that? That’s the real breakthrough.
